Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules - Clip - That's Not Me

In this sequel to 2010's surprise hit, Greg Heffley, the kid who made 'wimpy' cool is back in an all-new family comedy based on the best-selling follow-up novel by Jeff Kinney.(Kinney's 'Wimpy Kid' series has thus fat sold 42 million books.) As he begins seventh grade, Greg and his older brother - and chief tormentor- Rodrick must deal with their parents' misguided attempts to have them bond.

the dads face got me weak when he sees the picture. his eyes got big

you know the party was wild when they broke out the coke bottle

i like it how in the book this part was so glossed over, the most information we had on it was a few sentances saying "well mom and dad found out about the party today, and i got in trouble for it too. oh well"
and yet in the film its a super dramatic and emotional moment

I like how Rodrick is pouring Coca-Cola instead of liquor because you can’t show teen drinking in a PG movie I guess.

I like how in the book Greg just stays in the basement all night and only gets grounded because his mom thought he was an “accomplice” or whatever, but in the movie he’s a legit accessory to the crime
