Found it interesting cause I had the red one myself on my shelf rn. Never knew about the Orange ones, saw the brown ones but never had one. Definitely interesting that some ppl didn’t stumble upon the red DIY book

I'm not sure if they have them anymore, but there used to be "taller" Wimpy Kid books. They had all the same content but were crammed into 160 or so pages. Interesting stuff

In Brazil we are used to call this series as "Diario de um Banana" (Translating is kinda like "Diary of Banana", this a slang for a dumb or clumsy person"), so if you want different books from this series, Brazil is a good choice! Oh, and we don't have Do-it-Yourself i think! If existed on bookshelfs, is problaly rarer.

Edit2[ENG]: So i was wrong, this book still exists on Brasil, and have a new book cover art, as the video showed to us (a hole in the book with Greg drawing something), and have a older version with another book cover (put a picture here), but is kinda rare to find these book with the old cover. Thanks for the brazilians fans to correct my commentary!

On my first do it yourself book back in like 2010 I actually did make my own cover on lined paper and tape it to the front in true wimpy kid style, I went all out 😂

while you were searching, in Arabic they translate the “diary of a wimpy kid” to “diary of a student” which I don’t know heh

My little sister has the Special Cover Art book she found at a Goodwill along with Wrecking Ball. It didn't have a price tag so the cashier gave the DIY book for free but Wrecking Ball for 1.50

Woah woah woah I think you might be mistaken, all paperback copies of the book were red and the hardback covers were orange with colored comics inside. That's how they came out, there were a bunch of them so I don't think there rare. Me and my friends had that copy while only some of them had the orange hardback copy.
