All your advice is so true. The biggest thing I have found is to NOT sign up to lots of website/youtube learning platforms. Choose one, like Dylane (of course) and stick with just that one ONLY. It is very overwhelming receiving heaps of emails alerting you of new videos etc.

The reason I want to learn French by myself is flexibility and timing. I want to take online class, but my busy life doesn't permit me so I choose to learn on my own term.

I learned a lot by your french grammar playlist. It was very difficult to find french grammar resources in a structured way. My french grammar improved a LOT by the end of the course. Thank you very much.

I have studied 11 languages along the way of learning for my B.A., my M.A. and my PhD. All but 2 are for translation purposes. I wish my professors were more like you. I would/could have learned so much more.

This is a great video. You really understand how the mind works when it comes to learning languages. I learned Spanish and Italian by talking to myself and listening to others. When I watch your videos, I see that you are making an enormous effort to teach French. You are a Superb teacher.
I shouldn't take your generosity in publishing French videos for granted, so I sent you a small donation.

Bonjour Dylane! In my humble opinion, you can improve your English pronunciation significantly by learning the dark L. In English, the letter L at the end of a word is pronounced very differently from the letter L at the beginning of a word. That’s called the difference between dark L and light L. To pronounce the dark L, one raises the back of the tongue, as if pronouncing ‘ou’. There are some tutorials on youtube about how to pronounce the dark L.😊😊😊

Ma'am, I sing-along French Songs and speak the same dialogue spoken in the movie out loud or as in French Tv Series. I learn a lot faster with sing-along songs. Neither English nor French is my first language. You made the French easiest to learn. Thank you so much for all the work you are doing for us. Thank You Ma'am.
