The fact that you spent 7 years learning is proof enough that French requires a lot of patience...I'm currently A1 level...but the progression is so slow I get bored...then I take a break and remind myself to enjoy the process enjoy the difficulty enjoy the road instead of only focusing on the results..

I know it can be a bit overwhelming being flooded with negative comments like you see in your comment section sometimes. Just remember less than 1% of viewers comment on videos. Most of us watch these videos and enjoy them without having to interact at all.
If a commenter has something negative to say, feel free to ignore it, or implement something that will reduce the times you see it. For example, people are complaining about the language this lesson is in, so perhaps you could appeal to them by adding (in French with English subtitles). If it is something you cannot appeal to, like the hateful rhetoric about your way of life, or something you find not worth appealing to, then perhaps it's best to remember that even the negative comments will help your algorithm, and the haters are accidentally helping you by interacting in the comments.

i tried to learn french two years ago but i only learnt the essentials and did not continue because of a lack of a consistent course. now i have succeded to take french elective classes in my university, today was the first day of class and hopefully by applying your methods i’ll hit the a2 in two months inshaAllah!! even until the end of the fall semester would be enough tho. super excited. i want to study both french and russian in my winter break because some russian girl complimented my accent a few days ago 😭😭 if i couldn’t take the french classes i’d be studying russian fr. but i’ll be patient to study it in my holiday. i’ll come here to update my french learning situation inshaallah! thank you for everything
