Root Car Insurance 6 Months Later Review - Is It Worth It ??

Save up to 52% on your car insurance.
Get a rate based primarily on how you drive. Fair insurance. No gimmicks.

We believe car insurance should be rooted in fairness
If you drive well, you are less likely to get in an accident. Therefore, you should pay less. That’s the simple thesis our company is built on. We’re restoring fairness to the insurance industry one policy at a time.

Simple pricing
Once you get a quote, you can add or remove coverages and adjust your limits (plus, you can easily see how much you’ll pay.)

Fair rates
Most traditional auto insurance companies only base rates on demographics, like age and ZIP code. You deserve a rate based on how you actually drive, not who you are. This is where our test drive comes in.

All in an app
Everything you need to manage your policy and handle a claim is all at your fingertips in our easy-to-use app.

There's alot of stuff you didn't "check" in your vehicle options....trust me, that knocks a shit load of money off when you check all those vehicle options boxes..maybe try the quote again and check all the boxes to see if the price drops...What you're paying right now is absolutely awesome, considering the vehicle you're fully covering(nice ride btw 👍) I'm still gonna check out Root though to see what their prices are....granted I'm financing..., but I opened a policy last night on S.F. for $151.75 down and a month, for my '16 F150 supercrew(truck insurance is expensive in Miami), but that's with a $500, deductible, rental, uninsured motorist, roadside, etc....I did go with a 10/20/10 though, cause I don't drive much...the 25/50/25 was like $196, which still ain't too bad, but I'm trying to save else wanted crazy money, like progressive wanted $140 down and $222 a month for a 10/20 with a $2k deductible and no over coverage and auto pay garbage for that rate, or triple down and an additional $20 a month not doing auto pay.smh...most other big name companies had similar prices and only got a deal with autopay, but after seeing all these companies having their computers hacked, last thing I want is my bank info on file...statefarm didn't give me a more expensive quote for not doing auto pay...My prior insurance was also the same, but $240 a month, with $500 deductible and that's about it...so saving $100 is already a step up...lol....but I'm gonna check out Root and see what they quote for the heck of it....Thanks for the video and heads up on the company info...Thumbs up👍

When you start an auto policy all your information is ran initially but you mid policy so therefore if any tickets or losses have occurred since the beginning of your own policy, doing a quote with State Farm now those things will change the rate. Try doing the new quote at renewal of your current ins company. Also if your credit has changed from the time you started your policy with root and when you did the quote with State Farm the number will be different. In order to truly compare you have to do them at the same time initially or at renewal.
