As an insurance agent, saying your mother is the main driver when she isn’t is considered material misrepresentation, which is a reason to deny a claim if found out. Do not do this.

Fun fact for UK, for me I've actually found parking it on the street (depends area mine was quite housing estate) was the cheapest (2014 at the time of checking) if was only a few pounds cheaper (£5-£30) I think this was due to keyless theft. Adding family members can sometimes push it up if you add more than one. If you plan to modify a car (mine was a Mr2 at 17& and a skyline at 24) more than 4 or five mods can push the insurance down.... Also sometimes it's cheaper to say you use it for work and pleasure rather than just pleasure (just take it work work at least once.
