I had a 97 Corvette, I put 130, 000 miles on it in 7 years. The only reason I sold is because at 77 years old it was hard to get out of it! I did all my own maintenance except for replacing the AC compressor. Here in Texas the compressor runs all the time I just wore it out. I’d like to try a new one but the wife just giggles when I mention it!!! Properly maintained a vette will last for years.

WOW! This car is a track BEAST! So much so it was a little out of place on the street and I am OK with that. You will not confuse it with a boring commuter car. This is peak internal combustion engine here. 0 - 60 in 2.6 seconds, a10 second quarter mile all on pump gas. You also 670 HP with close to 20 MPH on the highway with a factory warranty and then there is that glorious sound. Again, WOW!

This car is the stuff of dreams. I don't know what the future holds for cars but I am not taking for granted we have cars like this now. I hope to one day to have one and congrats to those who are able to own one now. Thanks again MotorWeek for the great video. With so much great info packed in under 7 minutes, and delivered with style BTW, there is a reason why MotorWeek top tier automotive journalism!

I grew in a Ford family, all Mustangs all day. Don't matter, i can't deny the C8 z06 is the best car made in America right now. It looks like a 350k supercar and drives like one too i'm sure.
