I loved The Narrowboat Summer!!! I first saw narrowboats on some Brit mystery tv series, and I thought it would be so wonderful to live on one ;)

The Summer Bounty one is definitely on my list. I've been reading TONS of nature non-fic, all due to you, in fact! And as a result, my husband and I go out for walks and photography; we've become birders. I cannot emphasize how meaningful these reads are to me. I've developed an intimacy with much of the natural world that's been born out of this yearning (I didn't even know I had!) to know more, ask more questions, and get answers to questions I didn't even know to ask. It's been pretty *insert expletive here* profound. :)

I live in Birmingham U.K., and our biggest claim is that we have ‘more canals than Venice’ so we have busy waterways and a thriving narrowboat community. You can hire them for as little as a day here, although the locks put me off! I love the sound of The Narrowboat Summer, thanks
