I live in Zone 3 in a Victorian house, 3 bed. Massive garden and pay £1725. But I rented it pre Covid. My original rent was £1500 so went up in the Cost of living crisis. With Council tax, bills & car. I pay around £2k now. I have a good job so can afford to pay that on my own. Really want to move as I want to be smarter with my money. If I can save a deposit my monthly mortgage for the same type of property will be around £1200 if I can get a 5% deposit scheme. So I’m looking to downsize and save money as this will be more affordable in the long run whilst living pretty comfortably. The biggest obstacle is the deposit. I have seen the no deposit schemes but a lot of people say they aren’t a good idea as you end up paying more for the property in the long run.

The bathroom is wow. I completely impressed! The drawing room, bedroom, kitchen is understandably okay - tidy, organized and excellent in circulation. But once she open her bathroom. This building is right outside Clapham Junction station, not exactly central London. I rent a flat twice the size, closer to central, and for less than half the price pppm. Not sure why everyone is saying £2400 is a good price for this place…
