London is very expensive, but not if, have your company or employer paying for your appointment. How come some leasehold, are been squeezed and forced to pay too much money for service charge such as £455+ a month, on top of council tax. Major work such as paying to replace the lifts in your block. London is too costly, my friend, the pressure is is crazy. How much Naira is that S /C per month. In London you work for bills. No savings.

What?! That’s literally 3x my mortgage 110 miles north of London! I’m in a 3 bedroom house with off-road parking and a garden big enough to build another house.

You'll get a 3-bed in Charlton for that rent. Live in 1 room and lease out the other 2 for £1k each and your entire rent is covered.

This is the normal rent in London. I was renting an ensuite room for £1200 per month.... just a room and my own bathroom, ridiculous I know!

There’s a big difference living in UK or SA. Apples and oranges
