OH! I've been doing it wrong all this time. I do the same method, but instead of letting go, I pull the cuticle along which always causes me to rip into my skin. >.< Painful. Now I know!!! Thank you for the tutorial :D

Because if you don't push them back the acrylic nail will lift off at that point because it doesn't stick to skin.

Acrylic does not stick to skin, the nail will lift if it is not removed.
