it is very interesting to note the slightly older (40 + year old) chorus members, soloists and musicians proudly wearing their battle/campaign medals on their right breast and medal ribbons on their left breast that they would have earnt as young 18 - 20 year old conscripts/volunteers during the great patriotic war having witnessed and participated with the horrors of a total war and having survived so much suffering, it is testament to the depth of the Russian spirit that they were still able to produce such incredible music that resonates and lifts your soul ! Hurrah !

Great concert and beautiful voices! One of the greatest interpretations of "рожь". Props to the guy that subtitled all the songs. I know this is already a thing for individual songs in this channel but never thought someone would take the time to do so for the whole concert. :3
