In Moria, Gandalf tells the fellowship to "fly you fools".
The question that has always bugged me if why didn't the Fellowship fly the balrog to Mount Doom?

I loved your videos. I have a tradition to watch lord of the rings every 2 years, this tradition has been going on for 10 years. It is amazing that i still get the chills, excitement and happy watching.

Many of my questions were answered on your videos and i thank you for that.
I have three questions:
1 - what sauron was going to do with the ring if he got the ring ? Was there going to be some kind of ritual like voldemort did to regain a physical body ?
2 - elves and dwarves were fighting their own war against Sauron in the end (book), but in the first age was the allegiance with men, elves and dwarves ?
3 - why after the defeat of the orcs on the first age they kept destroying all mordos structures and orcs? Why the allowed to mordor and all the cities within get so strong ?

I got a question, sauron's army, the urak hai, are all reborn and breaded for one purpose, for battle and when the battle if helms deep is almost loss, they flee like cowards, why? Like the have something to loose and are not just mindless warriors

The Balrog never took part in the attack on Balin.
The orcs are the ones that dammed up the river near the mountain, which is what caused the small lake to form outside the West Gate.
They're also the ones who discovered The Watcher and drove it to the lake.
They did this while attacking Balin's dwarves at the eastern side of Moria to distract them.
