I just bought an Alienware m18 r1 AMD with ryzen 9 7945HX RX7900m 32gb of ram and 1TB SSD from Best Buy. New it retails for 2799. I paid around 1100. That’s around 1700 in savings(USD). It was listed as “good” condition. The reasoning “residue” aka FINGERPRINTS.
This laptop was immaculate. Screws looked untouched. No visible scratches. The cable box still has a silica packet in it. Open box for me was a golden find. A little elbow grease and alcohol and I know have a machine to last the better part of a decade

ive bought multiple used gaming laptops, most notible being a tuf f15 rtx 2060 which i still have and works perfectly after 4 years of use! and a rog strix with rtx 3060 which lasted me 2 years before i sold it and bought a brand new tuf a15 with a rtx 4060, my experience with used laptops have been amazing and saved me a ton of money, DO YOUR RESEARCH! its very important to know what you need to be looking out for! good luck everyone

Be careful with open box! I bought an msi gf65 from amazon in 2021. About 3 weeks later i discovered that my school bank account had been drained of my scholarship money. That was the most stressful time of my life. Idk what they had installed on there, but i replaced the hard drive just in case.

I just purchased a very lightly used Legion Pro 7 with an i9-13900hx, rtx 4080, 32gb of ram, and 2tb SSD for $1725. I'd like to think I got a pretty good deal!

I got a 95% used MSI Gp76 i7 11800h, rtx 3070, 2k 1440p 240 htz display, 1tera SSD and 16gig ram from Alibaba for $830 minus shipping. The device looks clean like almost new, temps are super good, the fans dont make noice unless you turn cooler booster on which i rarely use because the temps are that good and im living in one of the hotest regions on the planet. Gaming at 1440p max settings with smooth fps. I think i got a solid deal below $900.

Got an Alienware M16 R1 with RTX 4080, i9 13900HX, 64 GB RAM and 1TB SSD for $1400 ($1500 with tax) off of Ebay. Inside of laptop is in like-new condition, outside just has a couple small scratches on the metal. Ordered it on eBay from a technology refurbisher and the machine turned out to be legit. I think this was a pretty good deal!

Just bought an 2023 Asus ROG Strix 17 with R9 7945hx, RTX 4080, 32gb ram 1tb SSD for 1650$, all good so far, temps are great, checked with HDD Sentinel and have 8 days of use.
I didn't really need it, but I saw the price and go for it, what do you think, it's a deal or not ? 🧐

I got an open box 14 inch Lenovo Legion Slim 5 with a Ryzen 7 7840HS, a 4060 and a 2880 x 1800 OLED panel for $999. It's amazing and I'm in love with it! So much slimmer, lighter and more powerful than my last laptop. Open box laptops are a steal

Do one for selling gaming laptops! We regularly sell off our older models but it's SO hard to find buyers in our area (Northern MS, USA).

Late to the party here. But I snagged an Open Box 2024 G16 with 4080 for $1700 a couple weeks ago. It had a bad GPU from the start, but Best Buy fixed it under factory warranty within a week. So mixed experience but a win in the end.

got an open box deal for $799 for an HP Omen 16' 2023 with Intel i9-12900H, RTX 3060, 1TB SSD, and 16 gigs of ram. Has been running fantastic and still has 2 years warranty on it.

Buying branded used laptops might be more expensive, but they also have better resale value.

8:20 Buyers with social anxiety could not😢

10:13 Funnily enough, I bought a laptop with broken hinge because i don't care.
