Embed a YouTube Video Inside a Word Document

You can embed any YouTube video inside.a Microsoft Word document. It's easy and only takes one second. Follow the instruction in this video.

Insert as Online Video

2. Copy the URL of the web page from the Address bar of your browser. Alternatively, copy the embed code of the video.

3. Switch to Word and select the position in the document where you want to place the video.

4. On the Insert tab of the ribbon, select Online Video.

5. In the Insert Video dialog box, paste the URL you copied in step 2.

6. Select Insert.

It's not embedding. It's just a link to the video. If the video is deleted from YouTube. The document is useless, unfortunately.

I'm sick of this shit. This isn't a rant at the video creator but man... man... thats not an option anymore. There isn't a Online Video button anymore, there isn't a wikipedia button anymore. I don't care if the button got made into something else. That's not the point. Why is it such a fucking nightmare to do damn near anything on word, when you look up the answer it's either wrong or obsolete. We genuinely have gone backwards in simple productivity of the layman. These stupid systems take as much time to learn as they do to use. You might as well have done it by hand but no... we all want some italics and a fucking boarder and fucking jpegs which need to be set to "Tight and Move to fixed position on page" and it wont even auto correct stupid typing mistakes which distracts from flow of though.
Boys.. I'm sick of it.

1:33 when I was inserting a utube link to a word doc, then I got this error message: "We couldn't recognize the address you entered"

i have word 2010 i i dont know what ito do and on my PC i cant install window 10
