This nearly took my son! Many doctors are not educated in Lyme and co-infections. This lady was very lucky!

Lost a friend from this last year in Maine. They sent her home from the hospital and two days later she passed away. She was pregnant at the time but the baby was fine. Also a 6 year old son and 3 yr old daughter. They are a strong family thankfully

This happened to my mother in her late eighties. She was given a complete blood transfusion. It was from a tick in central Wisconsin. I've never seen anyone so sick in all of my life!

I was bitten by a tick. I never found any kind of bite mark, no bullseye ring or anything. But I had symptoms of Lymes so I immediately went to the ER. The test came up negative but about a month later the symptoms came back so I got tested again and it came up positive. It was too early to show up in the first test. But because they caught it so early the doctor was able to treat me right away with antibiotics. Thank goodness I am Lyme free now. So glad your better Melissa 🙏👍

We don’t realize it but we take our health for granted. Thank God every day for your health & keep loved ones in prayer for theirs. 💛

That tick would have been torched if I had found it. There wouldn't be any releasing it outside. Ticks can survive a long time without food, so you would be hard pressed to starve them out of area.

I was bitten by a tick and a spotted ring developed near the tick bite. After that, my health has never been the same. I eat pretty healthy and take care of myself, but things aren't normal. There are certain foods I can no longer eat. Plus, I developed an autoimmune disorder which I suspect is from the tick bite. This woman is fortunate to have had a doctor who made every effort to really find out what was going on with her.

I was bit by the Lone Star tick . I was in the countryside but had books so I could identify it. After feeling ill I went to a local Dr. ( not my regular Dr.) who didn't believe me so he Didn't give me antibiotics. Unfortunately, I almost died from this mistake. My Dr. Transferred me to Johns Hopkins where I was in intensive care for 12 days, then in regular care several additional days more. I had to return 2 additional times. In all it took me almost 6 months to recover. I still can't eat beef. Tick bites are NOT to be messed with. They can kill you.

Never, Ever ignore tics, especially be careful if you are removing them from animals.

I just have to say, I've heard this narrator in so many things, gangland, as well as many documentaries. I think he's awesome.

People need to know about this .
Extremely.
There are so many things most of us don't know about insects and human encounters

Can we give hands up to Dr. Sims who is fast enough for the diagnosis? God bless him for saving her life. ❤️🙏💯
