The Largest Black Holes [4K]

Показать описание
Lately, there has been talk of a new largest black hole, named Phoenix A*, which is said to have a mass greater than 100 billion times the mass of the sun! This is much larger than the previous record holder, TON-618. But can we really rely on this prediction? And if not, then what is the largest black hole out there, and how do we know its true size? These are the questions we will answer in search of the universe's biggest black holes.

Thank you for your videos. I‘m a physicist and deal with related topics ten hours a day, but still thoroughly enjoy every moment of your content and still learn something new every time. Again, thank you and I hope you can continue making these amazing cinema class short movies.

The last part left me in awe... to even imagine what the TON618 looks today is unimaginable. Space is so fascinating and it saddens me that we may never know the deepest secrets of the universe. Thank you for the video and keep up the good work!

Space content always feels like the most real and meaningful content to consume, even though it doesnt really intersect with our lives down here on earth, it's the bigger picture

This is my second donation. Thanks for the hard work and keeping these videos free. SEA is bringing the highest quality space documentaries straight to the people. I like that the YouTube age lets us support creative professionals directly.

I'm an aspiring astronomer, and I am especially interested in black holes for some reason, so thank you so much for teaching me so much about them, especially by making such complex topics so easy to understand yet still so interesting and entertaining.

Yet again SEA blows my brain cell. The best astronomy channel on YouTube, bar none.

"Unrendered Space" is the most unique description of the event horizon that I've ever heard. That one is sticking with me for sure.

I hope you never change this format. SO many space docs are just full of way too loud music, and random talking heads who are all at different volumes, and too much swooshing and chimes with their sound design. Your presentations are so professional and, calming, for lack of a better word. Thank you for what you do, it's been great seeing your channel grow over the years.

I am addicted to your videos which I binge on while knitting or spinning yarn. I've found none better for describing and illustrating such difficult to comprehend material. Your production, narration, writing, and content organization are among the best I've seen in any subject. Thank you for such a valuable and fascinating channel!

Honestly, you're my favorite cosmology or space stuff in general, channel.
I've literally replayed your videos hundreds of times to fall asleep, after watching a couple times intently, of course.

When I invented black holes I never thought they’d get this popular. I really need to thank SEA and all of the other cosmology channels for promoting them.

Anybody know how he gets the graphic rendering for all these? They’re absolutely beautiful and it’s usually a continuous movie for 90% of the video.

Part of me wants to see him get picked up by Netflix or Natgeo or something, but then the other part of me doesn’t want him at the whims of a mainstream platform.

so impressive how you changed your channel completely and became more popular rather than less. Cool to see how many people appreciate what you do. Though i really do miss how much of an impact you had on the geometry dash community, it will always be a distant memory

I'm SO excited to watch this video! You, Astrum, Melody Sheep, Cool Worlds, John Michael Godier, V101 Space, and Science & Futurism with Issac Arthur are the pennacle of everything space related, in my opinion.

And if there's a channel that I haven't listed that someone knows about and loves, I'd love to be introduced to them, as well!

So far this is the best space channel I've found here, and I've searched a lot. Thank you!
