so my question after choosing your product and determining your cost, how does Printify integrates with Etsy and make a listing, or did i missed something in the video? cz your title is Etsy Printify tutorial, i am expecting an integration tutorial

You forgot to factor in Etsy and PayPal fees in your profitability analysis. There is just no way a DTG printed shirt can compete with operations offering large scale screen printed T-shirts. When I look at non-trademark T-shirts on Ebay I see people selling for as little as $8 USD w/free shipping. I just don't see how its possible. The cheapest T-shirts I could find are a little less than $2 and the cheapest plastisol transfers also around $2. Shipping about $2.69. After Ebay and PayPal fees, I'd be losing money on each shirt. I don't see anyone successfully selling non-trademarked T-shirts for anywhere near the $14-16 range you'd need to charge to be marginally profitable even doing the transfers yourself with a heat press.

Etsy prefers listings with FREE SHIPPING...so don't I also need to up my price to cover that as well?

So how does the pricing on Sales and promotions on Etsy work
I have my items priced at 23.99 on printful, but in etsy i am running a 20% discount which drops the price down to 17.99. When a customer buys the product, does printify know that the price is 17.99 or ?

I assume the main advantage here is that a printify order on etsy is essentially all handled for you (and hence an easy passive income as long as the sales are there). But presumably there is the small Etsy listing fee for each product? Also You mention Printful - does Printful also setup with Etsy? I read somewhere that Printful may be slightly higher quality products but also a bit more in cost.

Ok im new to this all. So if i understand correctly a customer will purchase off my site, printify will print and ship on demand. The customer would pay the $17 plus the $6 for shipping and I would make the $9 profit without doing anything or having any inventory right?? Also would I have to prepay money to a printify account or would they just take it out of the $17 and debit me the rest?

So a customer buys something from you, you buy it from printify and they then buy it from someone else. It would seem easier to go direct to the fourth party.
