Here's a clearer breakdown to ACTUALLY net a $4 profit:

Selling price: $28.67 (with free shipping for the customer)
T-Shirt Cost: $17.50 ($15.42 is the sale price at the moment)
Shipping Cost: $4
Etsy Fees: $ 3.17


To net $4 with the normal costs of T shirts ($17.50) you would need to sell at $28.67.
To net $4 at the sale price you would need to sell at $26.37.

Regarding fulfilment center locations, I was going to add Valencia, CA like you did in this tutorial but when I went to the Printful Contact page, Valencia, CA was not listed. So, I used Charlotte, NC instead.

I would just like to seek your guidance regarding global shipping.

It seems that Etsy only allows for one country of origine and it uses this, along with the destination address of the consumer, to decide whether to apply local taxes at check-out.
So if the country of origin is set to the USA and a consumer in Canada orders a product, Etsy wouldn't apply GST/HST despite a high probability that the product will be fulfilled in Canada.

What would you advise in order to mitigate any risks pertaining to this?

When I attempt to connect to Etsy, I don't get the "allow access" option you mention, I just see my regular Esty sign on information page and it asks me to 'Sign in to continue". What might I be missing?

Are the options available for customers to order custom orders for other platforms or only Etsy? For context I would like to draw art and sell it in framed posters. But I would also like to have 1 custom option for customers. Where they could upload images and I would use those as references for custom drawings. Is that possible using other platforms including squarespace or Shopify?

Hi, I have a quick question. When setting up my Etsy store I selected my production partner in Chatsworth CA in the next section it asked for a zip...Do we enter the Printful location in Chatsworth or Valencia? I saw two addresses for Printful. Please advice. Thank you.

I decided to go with Printful but after creating three t shirt designs and loading them onto my Etsy shop via Printful I find in the sizing drop down box each size has the term 'US Letter' alongside. I have Googled this term and the clue is in the title...it refers to paper sizing! I have contacted both Printful and Etsy about this. Printful blames Etsy as US Letter only shows once the product has been exported to Etsy and it cannot be deleted from Etsy sizing, but Esty say (and it makes total sense) that they have nothing to do with anything that has been exported to their site via Printful and that's why I cannot edit or delete it. I don't think anyone will buy from me as this sizing text is very confusing (btw I am in the UK). What's the work around for this? I am feeling very frustrated after putting in so much work. I wonder if I change to Printify I'll have the same problem with the Etsy sizing saying 'US Letter'...

I am having an issue with the tutorial shipping directions. If I offer free shipping in the U.S., do I need to manually adjust it on Etsy for other countries. Everything I see elsewhere gives different prices for other countries, but my etsy says free for eery country meaning I would eat the cost for all these higher prices, correct? And it doesn't automatically add the shipping cost to the retail price either. If the mug was 6.99 and I chose a $5 profit and it says shipping is $6.99, why is it listing from Printful to etsy at $14.99? I would have to manually change the price of profit to $12 dollars to make up for the shipping, correct?

The tutorial for setting up the etsy shop account was not fully demonstrated right? I can't proceed with two-factor authentication as there is no Malaysia dialing code (+60) available.
