This theme is intertwined with the Batman Theme at times when it is appropriate, but it more so resembles the Wayne family's legacy and the good impact it once made in Gotham City.

I am so glad that we got a tease of what’s to come for Batman near the end. The shift from grim, vengeful stalker of the night to heroic protector of the people is one I wish more stories acknowledged, and I’m so happy that’s what it seems we’ll be getting in future Battinson films. We already got a lot of it in this film, with his acknowledgement that he needs to be a symbol of hope for the people of Gotham.

The character always seems stuck in this angry rut, where he has to be a sad loner, and I wish more writers showed us that side of him that is good and allowed him some happiness. This theme in particular really emphasizes the righteousness of the character and his quest for justice rather than vengeance. But it’s also a bit sorrowful as well. Overall, I think Battinson has quickly become my favorite live action Batman.

In the other Batman films, the villian is the star. This is The Batman’s movie and marks the first time I like the portrayal of Batman more than the other characters
