"You needed a father. All you had was me."
At this point, i was in tears.

this is the scene where you see why Matt Reeves casted Pattinson. He instantly flips, and you see a tiny bit of Bruce Wayne rise to the surface, "I never thought i'd feel fear like that again". Its so subtle.

This was the moment that sealed the deal for me.

That Robert Pattinson wasn't just a great Batman, but a phenomenal Bruce Wayne.

That vulnerability, that scared child that hid behind a mask, the man who could only share his true self with Alfred.
Probably the best scene in the film.

Alfred: “You needed a father… I could teach you how to fight… but i wasn’t a father… you were just a little boy, and it was my job to protect them… not yours. Mine.”

Bruce: “I never thought I’d feel fear like that again.”

This scene spoke volumes to me. After Bruce confronts Alfred over Thomas Wayne’s “mistake” that got him and Martha killed, when Alfred admits that though he wasn’t equipped for it, he tried to be the father Bruce needed. And Bruce emotionally breaking from the fear he was feeling since his parents’ death, to lose Alfred who was the only family he had left. The performances of Robert Pattinson and Andy Serkis as well as Michael Giacchino’s music score was so powerful that it left me feeling emotional. And when they held hands, I knew this was the starting point of their trusting father-son relationship as it is in the comics. I hope to see more of that develop in sequels.

I know you blamed yourself, but you were only a boy, Bruce.
I could see the fear in your eyes..

Those lines delivery by Andy Serkis is fantastic.

First time I've ever cried in a Batman movie.

I like how the "vanishing Batman" moment for Gordon was Bruce trying to save his loved one as fast as possible. You can feel the weight of urgency in that moment.

"We all have our own scars, Bruce."

Batman taught me how to take my pain and control it, use it, and most importantly, how to help people with it. Thank you Batman, for showing me that although scars don’t heal, they do bring me closer to the ones I love.

I could not put words in my mouth when Bruce had his little speech with Alfred, especially when they held hands, it was so amazing. I could not cope with what I seen on the screen.
