In these countries communism rose via free and fair elections and experienced economic and social development under communism, or at least before the US dismantled them and replaced them with capitalist dictatorships

What you are talking about is collection and redistribution, which is usually a feature of "taxation, " including within capitalist economies. Communism is the abolition of the property interest of abusus, meaning that people can no longer own (and thus derive rent, interest or profit from) any means of production they are not currently appropriating. In other words, user rights supplant owner rights.

What you described only works under capitalism... Under socialism, the socialization of ownership of the means of production eliminates the possibility of the accumulation of the majority of national wealth in the hands of a few. The average life expectancy in the Soviet Union in the second half of the 20th century was only 3-4 years lower than in the West, which indicates the complete satisfaction of human biological needs. The only downside of Soviet life is the shortage and narrow range of goods, but this is caused by excessive government interference in light industry and the lack of interest of the management in the production of jeans, chewing gum, Coca-Cola and similar mass-market products, and not because of the "accumulation" of a large amount of wealth by the elite lmao

You missed many steps, but one I’d like to point out is society industrializing first. Almost every country towards communism (or so they say) doesn’t industrialize, which means that the production was already at a rate where the goods couldn’t be distributed for long.

We can’t say Communism has and always will fail because it’s never been correctly followed once.

this lacks understanding of Communism and what its suppose to be. you're just grouping everything into Communism. its Socialism which in the existing form was either taken over by American fascist coups or was actually Marxist-Leninist which isn't exactly like every type of socialist. there are many types of socialism because many people were trying to finish what marx didn't just like they're many types of capitalism even through authoritarianism and fascism being a type of capitalism.
