Unfortunately fact number four is outdated (your resource is from 2014), John Lennons Gibson J-160E sold for 2, 4 million (in 2015). Great video, nevertheless :D

Let's be real here. How Canadians pronounce "decal" is the most mind blowing fact on this list. I dig it.

#1. Frets are a rough approximation of the desired pitch, so are actually even more out of tune!

Unless, your using True Temperment frets, with an Evertune bridge or something. Or, you know, just do a Hendrix and play out of tune but with enough attack and confidence that it sounds more or less in tune :)

I've been preparing to learn the exact math on guitar fret placement in the last couple months so that when I start to lay down fret placements on my fretboard, I would cleverly make them every so slightly offset to compensate for the string bend when you fret vs open string notes so that it'll be perfectly intonated (as perfect as I can make it, at least)... Your #1 was a bit devastating but at least now I know I won't have to fret over the fret placements so much anymore.

4:10 fun fact, the first recording device was not invented by Edison in 1877, it was invented by Edouard-Leon Scott de Martinville and was patented in 1857. The problem was that Mr. Martinville only recorded the sounds without intention to play them back. His invention was called a 'Phonautograph' and was used to analyze/study acoustics.

This is sorta technical, but for point number 1: Equal TEMPERAMENT is a temperament, NOT a tuning system. (the video calls it "equal tempered tuning", a misnomer) Temperaments are particular methods of de-tuning a given tuning system, such as Quarter Comma Mean Tone or Well Temperament.
The reason this is an important distinction is because a tuning system "tunes" notes, based either on fourths and fifths (Pythagorean), or using harmonic/overtone series (Just Intonation). (i.e. 3 limit and 5 limit Just. There are tuning systems for 7, 11, 13, . . . limit as well) The purpose of a temperament is to specifically modify these tuning systems for a desired effect. Specifically, the purpose of western 12 Tone Equal Temperament is to allow for change in key without changing key color, i.e. there is no tonal center. This is in stark contrast to tuning systems which are BASED ON tonal centers. Some temperaments have tonal centers, and thus usually accentuate key colors. An example of a different desired effect (than the ability to shift to any key without changing key color of Eq. Temp.) is how Kirnberger III (another temperament) uses quarter syntonic commas to create different size 3rds and fifths, with a pure (or Just) 3rd occuring from C to E (for C as a tonal center, which is typical). Musicians use these different sized (quality) intervals to create more pronounced moods in their music (via key color). I highly recommend reading up on tunings and temperaments if you are interested in this type of stuff!

There is a swedish innovation called "True Temperament" which allows you to play in tune all over the fretboard with the frets oddly shaped because of all the parameters applied for that reason. You should have mentioned that, it is something revolutionary. You can play in tune, it just needs money.

thats such a good point in #1, i actually didn't know that. ever since i started playing i would tune the guitar by a tuner and it would sound "off", and i would have to make everything slightly out of tune by ear so the chords ring out correctly, usually involving making the high E just a little bit sharp.

It's the internet so this'll get old, but Thomas Edison didn't invent "the first" recording device. He just got the first patent to a specific type that remained popular for longer than the competition.
