Really great demo. Finally a demo where its possible to hear the nature of the speaker. Good job and wonderful playing Sir

Okay...in listening to the speaker through a headset, the 30 sounds more "brittle" when driven and thinner when mellow. The NEO is smoother overall....NEO wins for me!

I mixed both in a 2x12 and they sound so good with a SC20 Marshall.

Love both but I'm leaning towards the cream back, thanks for putting this together.

Great job as usual. My vote goes for the neo creamback.

Never had a chance to play through a Neo Creamback but bought one blown and rebuilt it with a G12M rebuild kit since Celestion doesn't sell the Neo Kit anymore..
Sounds damn good in my Hand wired Deluxe Reverb.
But was wondering if changing the voice coil to a 25 watt coil from the original 60 watt made a change?

Surprisingly, I preferred the Neo in every example. Great comparison!

The amazing difference in sound sound crystal even on low notes, and the color of the acoustic design disappeared completely. This is a new speaker with a recognizable new sound.

With the drive tone at the end of the video, the Creamback neo is very bassy compared to the Vintage 30. Combined with the rounded upper mids, it might sound more pleasant to hear alone, but I'm wondering how it will perform in a live situation, and with bass-heavy amps like Fenders, or with bass-heavy pedals like the fuzz face

Both are great but to me, the neo has better note distinction and that’s why I’m getting a neo. Great video too

😅 I got the Blackstar ht club40 mk ii with 6L6 stock 70/80! Now stuck between creamback or v30

I think I like the Creamback from all the demos I've watched, but I think the V30 sounds better with your attack and crunch. Except I think the Creamback sounds clean.

I am not really sure which would sound beat in a band situation. But from what I hear my vote goes for the neo creamback as well!

Nice Jimmy great tone from that budget DSL40! I have Creamback in my AC15 great speaker....took a stupid long time to break in tho. I'd fear folks would give up on it before it softened up

Creamback speakers sound less harsh, without sacrificing the high end sparkle. Creamback wins.

I think the neo would make a great clean and slightly broken up speaker but I'm going to look for a different speaker for metal.
