"I've had a security camera set up on a bird's nest at my house to watch birds from hatching until they grow and leave the nest. Little did I know I would capture a snake climbing up the wall and eating one of them."

Darwinism. Parent birds made a bad choice for a nest; close to the ground and easy for a snake to slither up the pole. The other birds of this kind may have picked a tree or some other more secure location; and raise their babies up to continue the cycle. These little birds are part of another cycle ... the food chain.

Snakes are glorious and beautiful. And small birds are pathetic, stupid and weak. Especially baby birds are very annoying. So, birds get what they deserved)
