Yeahhhh baby!!! That was really slick. I'd even cut some short lengths of PVC and drill holes thru them or cut notches and toss them into a bag with rope, bungee cords and a couple of small tent stakes. I value knowledge, but if I am in a survival situation or just want to make life easier, I would prefer not to have to worry about knots and then untying them later.

do a loop through the grommet then another loop from around the edge of the tarp and push that loop through the loop that went through the grommet then put stick in that loop and it will lock it down from sliding. Great vid Love the idea!!!

If your tarp doesn’t have grommets, you can put a small stone into the corner, tie the tarp end around it an secure it with a loop, then tighten it to a tree. Old Boy Scout stuff.
