I am from syria and also we drinks matte in a big city called Swidaa, its a traditional and basic drink here, also you can add a small spoon of sugar every time you befir add the hot water

Ok guys, this is a traditional drink here in Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, and in uruguay and Argentina too, this is HIGHLY vicious like caffeine if you drink it too much and stop drinking like caffeine it will give you headache.
It is good but you have to drink it 3-5 times before really liking it, also don't forget, it's a herb so it is healing, some people here drink it for their whole life for atleast 5 times a day 😂

In the Mato Grosso region of Southern Brazil there is a version of coarsely ground herb to be taken with very cold water with ice Tereré you can search for Americans I recommend it
