I want to thank you for putting this video on line because I have ACDf surgery 2, days ago and no one in the hospital UIC in Chicago showed me how to get in and out of bed physically therapy in patients came to room one time I was sitting in the recliner in the hospital room they didn't asked me do you know how to get in and out of bed they only done 3 exercises and then left I do like my doctor's and some of the nurses because the nurse saw me getting up going to washroom didn't tell me nothing about doing it wrong I had to come home and look up in YouTube to find out how to get in and out of bed thanks for this video

I wish my doctor had me start practicing this BEFORE the surgery. I have one leg that is dead weight. Getting in and out of bed now, post L3, L4 laminectomy and L3, L4, L5 fusion with a dead leg is so hard to do.

I have suffered from a spinal fracture since 2015 as a result of an accident when I fell from a very high surface. I underwent surgery 8 days after the accident, but I still can't walk or stand yet. Although I can move all my legs, I did not do physical therapy immediately after the operation due to my financial situation I am really asking for your help so that I can stand and walk again. Yes, all the doctors I have seen from 2015 to this moment are telling me that I can actually stand and walk again.

I wish I known this a month ago with I severely bruised/maybe fractured my rib. I was so scared to go to bed every night, the pain was excruciating, made me almost past out. I took no drugs, too. It's better now, but still hurts a little bit.

I had spinal fusion surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago and had to stop sleeping in bed because it takes me over an hour to log roll and get out of the bed. I have 2 bum shoulders and have tried with both but having no luck.

Is it best to get out on the surgery side first or last? I’ve had multiple back surgeries with my latest this past Friday. It’s on my left side.

What if have a tight neck on both sides? I can go down but I hurt my neck.

That’s something no one brings up in these log roll videos.

This is helpful if you have a hospital bed at hoke but a lot of people won't. Any advice?

The pager problem is my legs wouldn’t come up together… That’s bad muscle to make that work… And I have found it impossible for six weeks to break both legs up together… If somebody can help out with that, that would be just terrific… I’ve even had Physical therapy in home and I’m left with a really bad situation….😢
