Thank you, I needed this today. Am currently in a funk and this reminded me of what I should prioritize. And the crazy thing about this is that I KNOW I should do these things, I would recommend them to a friend, but when it comes to doing them myself, it's always tougher. So thank you, I'm grateful. Gonna go do some yoga now.

Summer seriously makes me sad. Without school to distract me I fell sad. Especially at night. I feel as if I'm gonna get murderd, my parents are gonna die, and life has no meaning. 😥😢😭

I think this video on five ways to escape a depressive rut or to get out of a funk is right on and I failed miserably at all 5. I have had an erratic sleep pattern for over 25 years from way back whenever I started working evenings and night shifts, and then moved to swing shifts, and since about the year 2000 I have had even more erratic sleep patterns. I also am not a breakfast person. I usually do not eat until I get hungry and that is usually late in the evening or right before I go to bed because when I eat I get sleepy and I want to go to sleep so I hardly ever eat breakfast because I think I might have to go back to bed and go back to sleep. I don't get outside near enough and I get don not hardly get exercise whatsoever. But that has improved some since I've gotten Gracie and her being a puppy we do go for walks now. And I have very little social interaction except for here online. I only have two friends in real life that I visit with and I only see them as little as 10-12 or so times a month and some of those are brief. So I need to make some changes.

Being very intentional and actually doing something really helps distinguish days and makes life feel like it has meaning. I so get this. I also very much get the funk, having such a to-do list that it’s daunting and procrastination starts and snowballs....literally all this last winter.literally just getting the fuck out of the house early on in the day helps.

I’ve been in quite the rut for a month and a half now (ever since my ex left me). Truly one of the hardest things to do is get out of it..it’s happened to me before and a lot of these tips really do help, especially exercising and waking up at the same time everyday. I’m slowly getting back to normal but it’s been tough 😢 nice to come on here and vent a little

In regards to scheduling social interaction I also find another benefit is that the people you want to be with are far more likely to agree to meet up if you schedule it, as it's far less easy to cop out if they're feeling lazy or tired

Thank you. I'm currently in such a funk that I canceled my weekly live stream for the first time since I started doing it 6 months ago. Hopefully, these tips will help me out. I know that I need to start exercising again. It's amazing how much better you feel when you move your body around for awhile lol.
