I need help badly. I had a d&e may 24th and bled for 3 weeks straight. after, I had unprotected sex multiple times. It's now 7 weeks from the 24th and I have yet to start my period, also I had taken a clear blue test and it test positive with 1-2 displaying on the screen. Are these left over hormones (hcg) or am I in a new pregnancy ??

My Girlfriend Had a medical abortion done on July 31st, bleed and release blood clots for 8days, went for a follow up transvaginal scan on the 10th day, but the scan didn’t find an embryo but only left over blood clots and tissue although she was given an injection to bleed them out for two days.
On the 20th of August, she had a Urine PT and it came out faint positive but on the ultrasound, there was no baby just left over tissue
Please any suggestions?
