How A Miscalculated Attack On CRPF Camp In Manipur Led To The Deaths Of The Attackers

In a major incident in Manipur’s Jiribam district, 10 armed men were killed during an attempted attack on a CRPF camp. A day after the clash, authorities discovered two bodies in nearby houses. Most casualties reportedly occurred from an initial burst of fire from a Light Machine Gun mounted on a CRPF vehicle stationed outside the camp. Police sources have dismissed claims that village volunteers were among the dead, linking the attack to an armed miscalculation.

I do not understand this absurd conflict, why are Kukis against giving the Meteis ST status? Meteis are the original inhabitants of Manipur. Kukis were brought by the british in the 18th century as a counter to Nagas and Meteis.
Its like Punjabis, Haryanvis settling in Nagaland and Mizoram and then they are given ST status and the ST status of Naga & Mizo people is revoked. And hence Punjabis could buy land from Naga and Mizo people, but Mizos and Nagas can't buy back their land from Punjabis. Can Naga and Mizo people accept this? No right? So why do you want Meteis to accept it? If you can't give ST status to Meteis then please revoke the ST status of Kukis.
Kukis are not my enemies, so they need not to feel threatened. But they must live under the rule of law. Its the court that was rightly giving the Meteis ST status.
