Honey bees can sting other animals and insects without the stinger getting lodged in the skin. Only on human skin the ridges on the stinger will get caught and come out tearing out the bees insides.

"bees that bite us instead of stinging don't die"

Yeah I'd imagine you don't die from stinging if you don't sting

Just an FYI, the queen honey bee can sting repeatedly because her stinger is barbless. Another fun fact the male honeybee has no stinger but dies during mating with the queen bee.

The way I figure it, that is nature's way to protect either bee or sting victim from disease transmition, for the family of honey bee.

That’s sad! Poor honey bees are the good guys. It’s the other buzzing crew like yellow jackets, red wasps, the big bumble bees, etc. I was hoping met their doom after stinging.

Can we not create hybrid honeybees? So the honeybees can keep living, just breed a species of bee that bites with a honeybee.
