No. The kid has a syndrome where he does what he sees somebody else doing. He wouldn’t let anybody anesthetize him but he saw House breathing from the tube so he emulated him. He cannot help himself but mirror other behaviors!

The kid their has autism, you can tell because it’s a show and the fact that when it was his point of view the light was harsher, people with autism tend to be more sensitive to strong light.
Eating the red berries just means he’s showing that the machine is safe
