During the treatment procedure the tooth is numb, by using the local anaesthesia. So the child doesn’t have the pain during the treatment procedure. After the treatment for one week, the child has sensitivity. If the sensitivity is severe, the child has to be rushed to a dentist and check if it is still infection is remaining or not.

ok i had a tooth filling to weeks ago and front teeth but is was not shaped it look like an hole filled with clay but he says it is permanent and on first day it was sensitive i was chewing anything with that toth but sentivite was for hard and cold or hot things so i avoide it but after 3 weeks it is still sensitive but it is better than the before and again i had filled gap Between my front ttoth and gums but during filling i felt so much sensitivity but i didnt tell dentist so he procede and after drill i was happy and after the filling my tooth was paining all night so i didnt give much attention tonit and tomorrow it was ok but because of drill my other tooth which ha filled it was again sentivev so i agined avoid hot cold stuff and it is still sensitive not as much before but yeah it is sensitive to cold and hot stuff
