KABABAYAN | Filipino Muffins

Kababayan bread is one of my favorites.
Kababayan or Filipino muffins are usually sold in most bakeshops in the Philippines.
These are bite- sized, soft and slightly sweet muffins.
No need to go to a bakery or bakeshop, it is so simple to make, you can make it in the comfort of your home.

RECIPE:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup cooking/ vegetable oil
1 Tbsp vanilla extract

* melted butter for brushing
*sugar for sprinkling

Can I use white sugar instead of brown sugar?
