First off I love all your content, super informative and you guys are so fun to watch! Hopefully you'll pick this for a YAWA question: What is your thoughts on running retrievers and pointers at the same time? Like pointer shows where the bird is then the retriever flushes it out type of deal? I currently have a lab which we run for waterfowl but am super interested in a GSP for upland only (even talking to a breeder about the potential of getting one next year - so exciting!). I know there would be more training involved, just wondering your thoughts and opinions because I would love to be able to bring both dogs out at the same time.

I have allot of trouble feeding my kurzhaar properly. He wont eat when i didn't put anything on his kibble. How can i learn my kurzhaar to eat dry kibble and to eat when i feed?

I have a 3yr old lab. We go to nd duck hunting every year. She eats twice a day when we are at home. But once in nd she barely eats. When we get back to camp all she wants to do is snuggle on my cot to stay warm. If i just add water to her bowl it will freeze. Any other ideas other than water?

Hello! I am going to be getting a GSP but i have 3 birds and 5 chickens. Can i train it to not eat the birds or is it stuck with the habit of fetching birds?

YAWA Question: When should I feed my dog prior to going out for an early morning duck hunt if I typically have at a minimum of one hour drivetime to the hunting location? Can I feed my dog right when we wake up or should I wait until after the hunt which is usually 11:00AM or later?

I have a Brittany female pup (turns 12weeks in 6 days)that I got for my 16th birthday, I'm having a hard time figuring out what order I need to work on stuff with her, I've saved up money and am planing on getting a covey of quail, but would it be better to use launching pigeons. Was doing the bird on a string but found your page and plan to stop that. I'm confused and need help. My grandfather was the only one in the family with knowledge on training hunting dogs and he passed away so now I'm lost.

I have a 11 month old Springer Spaniel pup that is really coming along nicely. Is it ok to provide him with a noon-time snack (milk-bone?) for example? I've heard both yes and no? Hate to see him groggy the rest of the hunting day. Thank You!
