Looks amazing. We take our hunting dog out daily for off leash time on gravel, but never thought he could benefit from some pulling. Something to consider for the future!

Does this concept work on treadmills or is it not good without the pulling incorporated into the runs?

Does it matter if its gravel or pavement roads?

Do you do this in the morning or evening when it’s cooler out? I ask because when I run my dog 10 minutes when it’s 80+ out he will be wobbling and almost falling over so I won’t let him run only a few minutes when it’s warm. Any advice?

If running them on concrete will it hurt their pads or is gravel just better?

When your roading do you do any thing different with your dogs food schedule I’ve been told to hold off on dinner til the work has been done and the dog naturally cools down any advice

Great vid 😊 I’m not hunting and never really had anything to do with it, so this may be a stupid question. How do you take your dogs off of hunting season? Horses are often taken off work gradually after show season, to keep them healthy and so they won’t go nuts with too much stamina. don’t know about hunting dogs.

Hey guys, maybe a YAWA... what age do YOU guys recommend starting roading, i have read anywhere from 6 months to 18 months. I know its dependent on breed/growth rate, but do you have a good rule of thumb? Also for younger dogs thats growth plates aren't fully developed but have a lot of energy, what would be good before roading, or treadmill workouts?
Thanks for all of these, I'm going to be getting a PP this coming spring so I am taking as much info in as I can digest
