That looks killer!! Just out of curiosity I'm looking to do Altansar And I was considering using a burgundy fanatics/contrast I just don't know what would be the best undercoat to not make the burgundy bright but still show the details. I was thinking about Sigvald Burgundy or moldy wine. And maybe a violet wash over. Anyway just looking for input :) you rock man much love

Curious about what happens if you mess up and paint over the red? Like if your black spills over? Do you find that fixing colors airbrushed like this are tough to get back to a similar color?

How much mate black do mix into the occultist cloak? Never thought of mixing a layer and a speed paint

Another combo might be to base mephiston red and then cover with Baal contrast red… really pops!

Same effect for Ultramarines (I know you don’t like them but try it out): base with Calgar blue and the cover with contrast Talassar blue.
