Mike, great video thank you for taking the time to make it. I am a homeowner, normally I use the top of the forms as a reference when screeding, making sure all of my stakes are below the top of the form. For a 15 foot wide driveway if my stakes are below the top of the forms, could I use a 16’ power screed running it on the top edge of the forms? Thank you in advance for your help!

Looks like a good slab. Out here in North Dakota, you don't see laser-transit "wet pads" like you call them, we use stakes (or rebar with the Y-saddles) that hold a screed pipe. The vibrating screed just rides right on the pipe, and the subsequent hole is bull floated in.

Everything else looks familar though, from one cold weather concrete guy to another. Good to see other contractors saving their back not hand screeding the whole thing.

Super informative viddy! Thank you. Where I live concrete is far away so when it gets to us it has already been an hour in the truck. You are always trying to train up someone the morning of the pour and it usually gets pretty intense when the mud starts flowing You guys have it dialed! I can't imagine pouring more than one in a day.
