I had met with accident @50KMPH.

I fell and due to reflex my palm touched road first, but because of Gloves I didn't got even a scratch on my hand, the whole gloves was torn but it did the job.

Also the helmet saved my life as well.❤

Protection is must

I truly accept this i faced many accidents but bec of proper gears i always got safe from any major injuries DONT FORGET RIDING GEARS IT MORE IMP THN ANYTHING DURING RIDE

When i fell off of my first bike 160cc I was scared to point I thought riding is not worth it but being a rider at heart I continued as soon as I bought my second bike I saved some money by going 200cc instead of 250cc and bought riding gear for the amount I saved.
Then I bought my first middle weight segment bike a 650cc and I made sure I have enough budget to buy proper Level 2/3 riding gear.

Now that i own a 2023 Africa Twin 1100 I spent close to 10% the bike cost to get best quality gear.
I THINK MY STORY WAS QUITE MATURE (I am a juvenile in social life but I think I was really mature when selecting my gear and I pat myself on the back for it). I WANT ALL OF YOU GUYS TO GROW THAT MATURITY IN YOU.

😭😭😭😭 Bhai sahi bolra hai ye banda .. accident hote hi sabse pehle sir bachane ke liye app apna palm(hatheli) tika te ho... mera to itna ragda ki abhi bhi nisan hai almost 6-8 mahina hogya ..khusi hai papa ko jyada chot nahi ayi..😓

I usually ride my R15 V3 with Jacket, gloves, knee guard and helmet but on Aug 1st about to go to city on my car but my bike was parked outside and the distance was just 2 km so instead of car I took my bike with just my helmet which was the biggest mistake. After riding just 1 km two chapris on N-torque(scooty) came and hit me from my left side, somehow I managed the balance on my bike thank God the speed was 25-30 kmph but unfortunately my left arm was injured as the scooty rider directly hitted me from my left and he hitted my left arm with his helmet and in between that time i don't know how my left hand slipped and hitted on my bike by own due to the impact(don't know where) which caused me severe pain on my left hand which reduced after 3 days but that was not all my left hand thumb was injured badly, the blood cloated under nail instantly and with a day my half finger turned black with heavy pain(can't describe how much pain it was causing) so the next day I went to doctor and after check up he prescribed me painkillers and antibiotics, said the nail will fall off normally in few days but that doesn't worked at all, I waited 4days with that not tolerable pain and seen my left thumb getting black due to blood cloating, so on 5th Aug i went to another doctor and i had to go through surgery remove the nail and cloated blood. Its been 17 days after surgery and 22 days after the accident but not wearing riding gears except the helmet is my worst decision ever, just because its the left hand thumb i can't use my hand properly also wasted my almost a month in home with medical expenses. So it's my request to all even it's a small distance don't ride without proper riding gears, it will save you, your time and expenses.

Maine aaj se 20 saal pehle bike seekhi thi. Apni first independent ride mein hi gir gaya tha. Abhi bhi haat pe nishaan hai. Ab 20 saal baad apni first bike lene waala hoon.

So I rode a rental scooter in Kerala, and while going to Jatayu Earth Center, a small rock hit my knuckle.
My friend was riding scooter in front and even though the roads were beautifully clean and smooth, yet a small rock came under his rear tire and got slingshotted on my left knuckle(I already knew gloves are important, but that moment even though there wasn't even a scratch on my hand, I actually had the realization how bad things could actually get at high speed)

And the same moment, with gloves I realized how important helmet visor is and not just head protecting material.
In few seconds another rock game flying and hit me in the face, glazed left side of my face just besides my eye without any injury (same way slingshotted from my friends scooters tyre).
Since, the helmet was from the rental store too, it didn't had any visor.
