I truly never understood how this test worked for two reasons. One, leather shrinks when wet, so of course it wouldn’t have fit probably. Two, you can commit a crime with a loose or tight glove.

I may not be a forensics person, but I’ve worked in fashion retail long enough to know that water (so the gloves being frozen and unfrozen multiple times) and blood causes leather and similar materials to shrink or to make them more stiff than at when they were at purchase time. Unbelievable how the court made this their final piece of evidence that he “didn’t do it”
