im 13 and studying abroad is my dream, i have been in a deep depression and havent been up with my studies but the thought of getting in to a good university when im old enough is encouraging me to study more. I really want to study in Korea since i love the culture and the beautiful cities, i am going to learn the language. theres so many class of 21' in these comments it makes me excited !! im also a senior intending on going to yonsei for my undergad to study medicine but it seems that all international students must complete a year of KLI before entering their intended major. just wondering if this is true :)

One cannot be proficient in Korean with out parents help (if he she is at least half Korean)
So there are 6 levels of topik Korean language
Say, one is able to finish a level (or two max)
What's left is 4 pure stages that act as, a communication Gap, between an English speaker and natives

Hence, Korean seems to be unavoidable as the interaction (and understanding) is necessary
I have a question, to anyone out there for a yonsei or Korea university specific
Q.
1. Can I go first, as a language student, with Master's with an end goal?
The first is to cover the 4 more advanced levels of Korean (so I could understand lectures, speaking, and reading material)

2. If I began my journey as a language students, how Smooth is the Transition between Visas?

I. E. Are there guarantees that the university would accept me later?
(or does the University maybe accept my application apriori, then agrees I study for a year of K language ?)

It's about the concerns about visa strength for a Language student versus one for Master's

I've already applied and I'm still not done with sending documents, cause they require more documents because of that authentification thing bruh. This whole process really is super expensive. But I guess that's a good sign they require more since they are probably considering to admit me. Watching stuff like this to cope with anxiety haha and in hope that I didn't miss something.
