Proper interval between 2 coat is necessary...After primer wait 6 to 8 hours, then apply putty then wait for 8 hrs ...Polish the surface, apply primer or paint 2 coat plus minus shape .. Wait again for 8 hrs ie 2 coats also require 6 to 8 hrs
