My grandfather did 2 tours of Vietnam. One as standard infantry and one attached to SF guys. He's never spoken about his time as a grunt but he's ALWAYS held those SF guys to the highest standard. I believe that man would gi to war to this day with those men and as highly as he speaks of them, so would i.

Long time Vet. Infantry USMC. I was always told that tier one operators were the epitome of secrecy.
Every time our paths crossed while I was in, the tier one guys all stuck to themselves.
You didn't have one as a friend. When you tell me one of those guys was your friend, you're a liar. 250 bad assed Marine infantrymen shared a small ship, (LSD 1184, USS Frederick) with a platoon of SEALS for 6 months. Not one of them ever interacted with any of us Marines. I figured OK, OPSEC and shit. So why is it now that so many of them are just running their pie holes on YouTube?
