Not Normal BUDS... Appreciate your service brother

Автор

Lol, I remember Staff Sergeants holding casual conversations on 7 mile runs in the Marines, and that was just normal POG stuff 😂. Hats off to the infantry, SEALs, USMC Recon, Army Rangers, Special Forces, Delta, and the dudes that don't exist.

I didnt go to buds, i went to Ranger Indoctrination Program.
One morning the instructor says, if i can get 8 people to quit today, we will only run 8 miles. 8 hands shot up. For the next 8 miles the instructors rode on the back of a pickup truck eating pizza as we ran behind the truck.

I’m wise enough to know what my body is capable of and what it isn’t capable of. I could never do this shit, and that’s me making zero excuses. It’s just the reality. Respect to the ones who can, because I wish I could do this intensive stuff. Never sell yourself short of what you can and can’t do; I understand all of that and it’s true. I just can’t do this and that’s just the reality. But major respect to our servicemen that go through these things to keep our country safe and provide us the freedom and opportunities in life to do other things. Without you guys, this country doesn’t exist the way it does.

It’s like the drill instructors were superhuman during training, seriously! However, it’s always rewarding when you can come close or match their level at the end of training

This brother gets all my respect and the only reason why I call him brother is because he’s an American, but there is absolutely no way I could fill his shoes, but bet your ass I will support and fight for him🇺🇸💪🏻

First off I am 75 and didn’t have the honor to serve. I watch a lot of video’s from people who have. And just let me say they are all hero’s to me. With that said I have watch alto say how tough and hard their training was. I would think they would also explain that the difficulty of the training was not only to make them the best soldier they can be but to also keep them alive in combat.
Nothing but respect to all that have served and will serve.

It’s nice knowing the instructors went through the same hell at one point.

DJ Shipley is a BMF! His episode on The Shawn Ryan show is still 1 of my all time favorite podcasts. That man can tell a story with such detail you will have felt like you were there with him

Its not meant to be easy. As the seals motto: "the only easy day was yesterday".
