Try charring the peas first- dry saute w a touch of oil. Once they dry out and brown w flavor, add the butter and garlic last. Corn works even better or mix. Nothing adds flavor like charring the veggies first.

Why remove the garlic though??? That’s the best part! Mince or chop instead of crush and leave it in the butter.
