How to cook the perfect Mushy Peas at home #shorts
The recipe is based on the classic British Chip shop style mushy peas but without the Marrowfat Peas. This video will show you my recipe for delicious mushy Peas that are very easy to make at home and will impress the family. The recipe is not traditional using garden Peas instead of marrowfat Peas for a sweeter more refined taste. The mushy Peas are perfect for homemade Fish and Chips.

This video will teach you how to make fancier and tastier Mushy Peas than from the chippy. My recipe in this video is very easy, quick and fool proof to prepare and cook. Anyone can make this tasty and delicious dish for a date night, a dinner party, to feed the whole family, or to impress your friends. This recipe is hearty and rustic, and so so tasty!

when you put them back in the pan after draining them do you have the pan on the flame to melt the butter or is it just the heat from the boiling water before

Those are a bit green for marrow peas...what did you use frozen green peas? Is that why you had to mash them by hand?

No....this is so wrong...we don't make mushy peas like this in the UK 😮 you poured all the nutrients away after boiling them ffs 🙄

No, this is all wrong! And I am American and have never had mushy peas, LOL. You used a food processor and ended up with what's closer to a puree, like fancy chefs like to use to smear on a plate as a base. Use a hand masher like a potato masher and leave some whole peas.
