This has to be one of cleanses and clearest vids I've seen on YouTube.

These videos help a person like myself out so much. I know pretty much nothing about cars but want to learn them.

Go to 3:04, watch Cooley's hand FRANTICALLY reach for the door handle that sadly, isn't where he thought it would be.

Mr Cooley the Mitsubishi galant vr-4 since 1996 had what is called AYC that controlled the torque between the left and right rear wheels as well . this was long before Honda SH-AWD was implemented or developed. I say this to say that there is an. Error inn your statement which you state Honda was the first. Check out the tech on the galant vr4 you would be amazed to see how advance it was for 1996

Mr Cooley I think you need to revisit the statement about the torque vectoring into the Mitsu Evo from as far back as the Evo 4 and how the system gets more advanced with each generation peaking with the Evo 10 (Active Centre Diff - power front to rear) (Active Yaw Control - power left to right on the rear wheels).

Meanwhile im still stuck with a 97' pajero with a stick to select 2wd or 4wd. Its so old i dunno if the C-Diff still works.

you still have to turn and stop the AWD only helps you go forward. I live in New England where we get a good amount of snow every year. I drive a 2004 Volkswagen passat fwd not 4motion and I have NEVER gotten stuck. You just have to take your time and let the tires grip don't floor it. And nissan's have horrible transmissions my boss has an 05 pathfinder and it is now dead because the transmission is cooked because of the poor design of the transmission cooler. And lastly the 1966 Jensen FF was the first AWD car not subaru which came in 1972.

Wait till you have to repair an AWD. The shop time is twice that of a 2 wheel drive for any repair.
Got the money to buy one, need more money to repair it.
