Tibial Internal Rotation Correction (Great Mobilization for Knee Pain, Ankle Mobility, Shin Splints)

Tibial Internal rotation is often lacking for those who are experiencing knee pain, reduced ankle mobility, and potentially even shin splints. This tibia mobilization helps correct an external orientation of a tibia by gaining motion back into internal rotation. If you experience knee pain with squats, tap downs, or shin splints while running then give this mobilization a shot and let us know how it helps!

I have been diagnosed with a lateral meniscus tear on my left knee through three different bench tests by an orthopeadic surgeon. Will this help to alleviate my lateral knee pain? Should i do this internally or externally if I have lateral knee pain? Please help!

Hi, I've had patellafemoral pain syndrome and maltracking of both my knees for several years. I have low arches and overpronate when during gait. My knees internally rotate during gait, also making my tibia and femur internally rotate as well. I keep getting told by physiotherapists to strengthen my hips, but I've spent months trying all sorts of exercises to strengthen them, but the knee pain and clicking never goes away. I spent 2 weeks trying tibial mobilization and some back pain I've been experiencing for years disappeared. If I take a step during gait and try to form an arch by not allowing my foot to overpronate, or if I create an arch in my foot when standing, my tibia, knee and femur all look correctly aligned with each other, but the whole leg collapses inwards when I allow my foot to overpronate. Another thing I also have is a severe lack of hip internal rotation (about 5-10 degrees). I don't know what is causing this, but I've tried different exercises for several weeks to increase hip internal rotation which only last until the next day when I notice I've lost any internal rotation that I had gained the previous day. Do you have any idea what could be the problem? Thanks for your help.

After my acl reconstruction i have some moments when the tibia is not correctly in place. When i use this method it always clicks in place again. Thanks!

I had a question, to stop this from accuring what should I do? Is is strength exercises the key? Mainly quadriceps/hamstring?

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards, Rik

Hello, I have internal rotation on my both knees. Left is like 10 degrees, and right 15. I don't have any pain but when I'm trying to walk straight my femur turns inward. Doctor said that I can't play basketball because of this problem. If I do this exercise everyday for 2 months will I fully correct this issue? Please response I really need your advice
