I Wanted A Challenge... [WuWa Swords Only]

I thought that creating a Swords Only account in Wuthering Waves would bring about a challenge when it comes to combat... but not when the game does this...

Wuthering Waves officially released last month, and SO many of you have asked me to make an account where I try to play through the game using only sword-wielding characters. So I have finally decided to give it a shot.

If enough of you enjoy this, we can turn it into a recurring series, and if not, then I'll just slowly play through the game on my own time.

So, can you beat Wuthering Waves using only sword characters? Let's find out...

It is kinda funny that Java used Wuthering Blades as the name of the series, but he can't use the broad 'blades'

Fun fact, there's a damage penalty for being lower levek than the enemy, which is why there was suddenly such a huge spike in difficulty after you leveled the world up

Something that would be smart for Java to think, is that at the making of this video, Spectro Rover is the only Sword character that can heal the party.

Please do more of this series. I love playing wuwa...and with 2.0 it has become way better in terms of story, exploration and MC got buffed. Also we are getting first 5 star male sword character Brant and his best in slot dps Changli at the same time.

more wuwa yessss!! its definitely weird that you get trial characters for the characters you have. i also thought it was interesting that some of those trial characters switch echos in between fights xD

Definitely wanna see the series continue! The first video inspired me to make a second account for fun but I’m not as elite so it’s just a “blades only” so I can have a few more characters with swords and broad blades 😂

I don't know if advice is warranted or wanted, since java like the genshin/gacha expert and all, but homie prob won't see this anyways. [UL49]

if you don't like using echos that transform you and get you hit, you can use ones that just spawn and do they're thing, I don't personally think they are as good, but it's personal preference, i use flame rider for my encore, and most of the time i get hit through it. i'm not sure if your focusing on a certain element or not, but you could even use the echos that heal you, Or go fight the giant turtle and use it's shield echo. [or you could use the shield one on your second character then just switch to first and use the transforming echo]

I will say (imo) you should focus on getting your data bank level up as sooon as possible, that way you can get gold echos and start leveling them up like artifacts.

You can track monsters from the Data bank 2nd page, like track the "??" then just farm to the highest rarity. (Or search up red elite monsters, and go fight/mark those, as every kill either drops a purple or gold echo regardless of your data bank level) (Though some are stupid hard)


You get increased echo drop chance if you check the data bank, up to like 15 times i think. So at db21 you could fight a overlord/calamity 15 times and get a gold echo drop all 15 times.

Also, difficulty choice doesn't affect echo rarity, you could fight dreamless or the new boss since they in portals, choose the lowest difficulty, and farm echos for it. (once you get too high of a UL it will say you won't get them for the lowest difficulty, but then just move up a level. [If you need to farm dreamless or new dragon, they only ones so far that can lower difficulty for quick farming, scar maybe, i don't remember]

Also, you can do each weekly boss, 3 times per week. Like you can fight/claim Dreamless's weekly drops 3 times. It's super nice.

Might not be the best advice, and maybe others will say against it, but it's worked for me as a basically Solo encore main.
